I've gotten several e-mails asking WHY people aren't allowed to view the videos I have up or download any of the music... Well you CAN! All you have to do is just make an account. I have limited bandwidth on this site, and although I'm usually well under the limits, I have been "Dugg" and "Slash dotted" and it cost me some money so I have the account thing in place to mitigate that. It also helps prevent hot linking, you have no idea how much stuff between this site and a few others I have have ended up on my space accounts, which i don't care about as long as they pay for the bandwidth, but they don't.

NY Giants football in the summertime... What could be better? Last night I had the pleasure of kicking off the NFL season of 2006 in the right way. NY Giants vs. Patriots Normally, I never go to the pre-season games.
Even with the tickets up to $75 a pop, it's just not, you know, real. I'm glad I went to this one. Kicking off the night with some Yeunglings in the parking lot after work was downright awesome. Beautiful weather, beautiful scenery, just an altogether sweet night. What can I say about Giant's fan's that hasn't been said already? Best people in the world, as long as you're true blue! Suprisingly, I didn't see one fight last night. Fights are pretty common at Giants Stadium, as a long time season ticket holder you kind of get used to seeing about 10 security guards with some NJ State Troopers mixed in rushing a crowd of drunk pissed off people. Somewhat more fights in pre-season, because usually the pre season crowd happens to be made up of people that don't get to go to the regular season games, so they party harder and try to have a "night to remember". And I won't even get into the pre season Giants / Jets game... But, for some reason, everyone was mellow.
Inexcusible.
Today I finally got in the mail what I had been dreading. A letter from "The Secratary of Veteran's Affairs". A few weeks ago a veteran friend of mine shocked me when he told me about this incident. Supposedly a data analyst, against established policies, took home a laptop containing the names, social security numbers, and dates of birth for over 26,000,000 veterans who served after Vietnam. Doing some quick math, I figured if the current military strength is about 1.5 mil, and they have info on 26 mil, that's just about everyone who has served in the past 20 years.
Here's what upsets me. The VA states "Authorities believe it is unlikely the perpetrators targeted the items because of any knowledge of the data contents." Are they for REAL? Do they have ANY idea how the underground world of teh internets work?
The Pirate Bay (TPB) Announced in Copenhagen that the site will be hosted in 4 individual locations, Holland, Russia, Ukraine, and one additional EU nation, All a result of hosts helping them out after MAFIAA's ill treatment of their previous hardware. "The Pirate Bay is going to be stronger than ever"
For those that don't know, the Pirate Bay is probably the largest searchable BitTorrent site that will list anything. I, for one, enjoy watching their fight against just about anyone who tries to have links to thier content removed.
Although, as someone who has had IP taken from them and actually used, I understand the artists frustration with copyrighted materials being used / enjoyed illegally. On the other hand, as someone who has BOUGHT an album, then a cassette, then a cd, in effect re-purchasing music, that I owned the rights to listen to, over and over to the delight of the Music Industry, I see serious flaws in the system.
